Awareness on Menstruation and Cleanliness
Under IQAC initiative and with the support of Principal Dr.R.M.Mirdhe, Awareness Program for Higher Primary Schools specially for girl students on the topic “ Awareness Alliance about Menstruation and Cleanliness” was organized by Youth for Seva Cell of BLDEA’S Smt Bangarrama Sajjan Arts Commerce and Science College for Women, Vijayapur on 25 th August 2022.Co-ordinator of Youth for Seva Cell Smt.T.I.Sarwad along with two teaching staff named Smt. Shweta Ghanti and Smt.Shaila Rebagond with 06 volunteers of YFS co-ordinated the program. Each staff along with two volunteers visited one school and created awareness on above topic. They highlighted the following sub-topics :-
- The Reason for Menstruation.
- Menstrual Period.
- Personal Hygiene during Menstruation.
- Problems during Menstruation.
- Ways to Dispose Sanitary Pads.
- Precaution to be taken during Menstruation.
- Nutrient requirement during Puberty.
