As per the UGC guidelines the Career Guidance Cell support that an institution offers to its students and make them confident to perform better. It is a comprehensive, developmental program designed to assist individuals in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices. A career guidance and counseling program develops an individual’s competencies in self-knowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and career planning.
Career guidance and counseling programs help individuals acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to identify options, explore alternatives and succeed in society. These programs better prepare individuals for the changing workplace of the 21st century
A dedicated Career Guidance Cell is established to guide the students to achieve the prospective careers. A Career Guidance Cell Committee is working towards organizing interactive sessions on the issue of probable upcoming Career options. This Cell is to collect the career options from the students, create awareness and importance of higher studies in India by conducting coaching classes on all Competitive Examinations like Multi-National Corporations, Non-Governmental Organizations, Banks and Educational Institutions. This Cell plays an important role in providing career guidance to its students. It conducts various Activities and Workshops such as training in Drafting Letters, Professional Ethics, Group Discussions, and Mock Interviews for the students. The main purpose of the Institute is to encourage for achieving the dreams of higher education.
