Under the IQAC initiative, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell organized the Zerodha Varsity Quiz Program. The program was designed as a completely free, structured, and easy-to-understand learning platform to help individuals gain confidence in stock market investing.
The event was executed under the guidance of IQAC Coordinator Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar , who delivered the welcome and introductory speech. Principal Dr. Y. Tammanna highlighted that in today’s competitive era, textbook knowledge alone is insufficient, and students must broaden their horizons.
The quiz competition was conducted in multiple stages, testing the intelligence and quick thinking of the participants. Students showcased their talent and enthusiasm by answering challenging questions.
First Prize (₹12,000): Team of Sanvi, Triveni, and Monika
Second Prize (₹9,000): Team of Yashoda K, Arpita, and Vidyalaxmi
Third Prize (₹4,000): Team of Aishwarya, Savita, and Ishwari
The quiz was skillfully conducted by Mrs. Archana Dinesh , Quiz Master from Zerodha Varsity, with assistance from Miss. Srushti Raut. The inaugural session was compered by Mrs. Shweta Tadavalgi, while overall coordination was managed by Mr. Manjunath Magedi, Member of the Placement and Career Guidance Cell. Faculty volunteers and students provided valuable support throughout the event.
A total of 58 teams (each comprising three members) participated in the competition. All winners, participants, volunteers, and staff received Zerodha Varsity canvas tote bags and goodies as a token of appreciation.
