The college proudly celebrated the 893rd Basava Jayanti on 20th April 2026.
Smt. Deepa Lagali, Head of the Department of Kannada and Cultural Committee Coordinator, spoke about Basava’s profound contributions to Basava Nadu, highlighting the inspiring slogan “Kayaka ve Kailasa.”
Shri S.H. Hugar, Faculty of the Kannada Department, elaborated on the different phases of Basava’s life and his enduring legacy.
Smt. Danamma G, Head of the M.Com Programme, proposed the vote of thanks, concluding with a meaningful vachana of Shri Basavanna.
The celebration was graced by Principal Dr. Y. Tammanna, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, along with 20 staff members and 80 students, making the event a memorable and successful occasion.
