Under IQAC initiative Department of English conducted Special Lecture on “Importance of English Language in Present Scenario” on 29th of November, 2024 in English language Lab at 9:30am.
Resource person of the programme Prof. Marigadilingappa. T Associate professor Department of English Government first Grade college for Women’s, Ballari. Spoke on the topic saying that English is not only language but strength and opportunity for those who use it and said English is used in all the fields of life of man i.e Science and technology, Medical, Education, Judicial, Administration and so on.
Principal of the college Dr. Y. Tammanna Presided over the program, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, HOD of English Prof. P.S.Tolanur were present in the program Prof. Prabhuling Gunjetti welcomed and introduced the guests Prof. Smt.H.S.Desai Praposed vote of thanks.
Along with all teaching faculty of the department more than 40 students were present in the program.
