Report on Student Union Election 2026–27

Institution: BLDE Association’s Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan College for Arts, Commerce and Science for Women, Vijayapura.
The Department of Political Science organized the Student Union Election 2026–27 on 11th August 2026 to Elect Class representatives and the General Secretary. The election process began with the nomination of eligible candidates, followed by a disciplined and healthy campaign. Candidates interacted with students, presented their ideas, and sought their support.
The voting was conducted through ballot papers and EVMs. Eligible students were verified using their Student ID and Aadhaar ID before casting their votes. The counting of votes was carried out in the presence of 𝘿𝙧. 𝙔. 𝙏𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖, Principal, 𝘿𝙧. 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙩𝙞 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙧, IQAC Coordinator, and 𝙈𝙨. 𝙍𝙚𝙠𝙝𝙖 𝙂., HoD, Department of Political Science.
The elected members were:

The election was conducted in a fair, transparent, and democratic manner, with enthusiastic participation from the students. It provided students with valuable experience in democratic participation, leadership, and responsibility. The programme concluded with appreciation to all students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and everyone involved in the successful conduct of the election.
