Details of the event:
An IQAC initiative, as part of the ongoing Deeksharambha: Orientation week, the institution organized the sixth day and valedictory programme. The final day focused on a special lecture on “Personality Enrichment and Communication Excellence” aimed at helping students develop their personality, communication skills, confidence and interpersonal abilities.
Inaugural Session:
The programme commenced with an invocation song presented by Ms. Aarti and Ms. Keerti (B.A-V Sem)
Ms. Chaitra Aloor (Faculty-Dept. of Chemistry) delivered the welcome address. Smt Shweta Tadavalagi (Faculty-Dept. of Botany) anchored & introduced the resource person.
Special session:
The special session was delivered by Dr. Ashwini Yaranal on the topic “Personality Enrichment and Communication Excellence.” The resource person highlighted the importance of developing a positive personality, effective communication skills, self-confidence, interpersonal relationships and professional etiquette. The session provided valuable insights into the role of communication in both personal and professional life and encouraged students to become confident and effective communicators.
The lecture was informative, interactive and highly beneficial to the students. It motivated them to recognize their strengths, improve their communication abilities and work continuously towards overall personality development.
Presidential Remarks:
Dr. Y. Tammanna presided over the programme and shared his valuable viewpoints regarding the lecture. He emphasized the importance of personality development and communication skills in achieving academic, personal and professional success.
Valedictory Session:
As the concluding day of the orientation programme, The programme provided a meaningful information focusing on the holistic development of students and preparing them for their academic journey ahead.
