BLDEA’S Smt Bangaramma Sajjan Arts Commerce and Science College for Women Vijayapura the Department of Studies in Commerce, M.Com Programme, Organised an Industrial Visit as on 16th and 17th March 2026 as part of the academic curriculum under the IQAC Initiative to provide practical exposure and experiential learning to students.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Y. Tammanna sir, with the support of IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar madam, who encouraged such academic activities to enhance students’ industry understanding.
The Industrial Visit was coordinated by Smt. Danamma Gidaveer, Coordinator M.Com Programme along with the active support of faculty members Smt. Soumya Kulkarni, Miss Prema Sindoor, and Shri Prabhuling M. Gunjetti.
The visit to Dandeli provided students with exposure to environmental and industrial surroundings, helping them understand the practical aspects.
The visit to Hubballi, has provided opportunity to explore the Parle-G Industry. During the visit to the industry, students gained valuable insights into the manufacturing process, quality control measures, packaging and distribution systems, as well as the organizational structure and overall working environment. This exposure helped them understand the practical aspects of industrial operations and enhanced their knowledge beyond classroom learning.
The Industrial Visit was highly informative and beneficial. It helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Students enhanced their understanding of industrial operations, teamwork, and professional environment.
