Under IQAC initiative Cultural Commitee and Women Empowerment Cell organised International Women’s Day on the topic “ Invest In Women : Accelerate Progress” on 12th March, 2024 at 10:00 am in seminar hall of our college. Function began with the beautiful serene prayer by Miss Shilpa and group The inaugurator of this function was Smt Bharati Patil Senior writer and in her inauguration speech she said that men and women are equal so in every walk of life women has to be given equal opportunity and rights.Shri I.S.Kalappanavar Administrator Officer of BLDEA was the distinguished guests, in his speech he congratulated all the ladies staff and called women as a powerful and courageous Goddess. President of the function Shri Tolanur HoD of English, spoke on the empowerment of the women and their progresss. Dr.R.G.Kamtar coordinator of Cultural committee and Smt Anita Dolli coordinator of Women Empowerment Cell organised the programme.Shri V.S Nandesh IQAC coordinator, 33 teaching staff and 187 students attended the programme. Miss Akshata and Miss Nikita from BCOM III rd sem hosted the programme.Miss Shreya Walikar introduced and welcome the gathering. Miss Supriya screened the ppt of distinguished women of India.Miss Bramharamba proposed vote of thanks.
