Under IQAC initiative, the department of Home Science organized FOOD FESTIVAL-2024 on 23rd January 2024 for students of all the streams of B.A. B.Com, B.Sc, BCA and M.com in our college campus. More than 200 students participated in the event and the total of 23 stalls arranged. Around 600- 650 people enjoyed the taste of more than 50 varieties of dishes . Shri Chandrakant Shetty ex Chairman Vijaypur Development Authority and owner of Hotel Lalit Mahal and Chef Tousif Iqbal founder Cafe Arabika inaugurated the food fest -2024. Prof.Anita Doli Food Fest Coordinator and HOD Home Science welcomed and introduced the chief guest Dr R B Kotnal, chief administrator BLDEA and guest Prof.

co-ordinator, HOD Education PROF.V.S.Nandesh gave introductory speech .Chef Tausif Iqbal addressed the students about the changing trends in Food habbits, and hotel business as a career.
Press reporters and media TV9 personal were also present at the function. Chef.Tousif Iqbal and Dr.B.Y.khasnIs were the judges for the event.They selected 5 winners . Winners are awarded with cash prize and Certificates. President of the function. Dr Y Tammanna, principal concluded presidential speech. Dr R.G.kamatar gave vote of thanks. Smt.Savita Lamani compered the program. Around 50 teaching and non teaching staff and more than 500 students present at the event.
