IQAC Initiative: Cultural Committee Celebrates 116th Birth Anniversary of Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan
Under the aegis of the IQAC, the Cultural Committee celebrated the 116th Birth Anniversary of Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan on 17th July 2026.
The program commenced with an address by Smt. Deepa Lagali, Co-ordinator of the Cultural Committee, who spoke about the remarkable contributions of the great philanthropist, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan. She highlighted that Smt. Sajjan’s generous donation of land to the BLDE Association played a pivotal role in the establishment, growth, and expansion of the institution’s campus.
Dr. Y. Tammanna, Principal, paid tribute to Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan and acknowledged her monumental contribution, emphasizing that her generosity laid a strong foundation for the institution’s development and continues to inspire future generations.
Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, IQAC Coordinator, along with 50 teaching and non-teaching staff members, was present on the occasion. A total of 50 teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the program, making the event a meaningful tribute to the life and legacy of Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan.
