B.L.D.E. Association’s Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Arts, Commerce & Science College for Women, Vijayapura – Annual Sports Meet 2025–26 is organised by the Department of Physical Education and Sports on 21st April 2026 at 8:30 AM at the SS Campus Women’s College Ground, Vijayapura. The event began with an inaugural function. Inaugurated by Prof. S S Kori, Physical Director of BLDE Association, Vijayapura. Who spoke and highlighted the importance of sports in students’ overall development.
A variety of indoor and outdoor events, 100mtr, 200mtr, and 4x100mtr Running. including, field events, chess, and carrom, were held. Students from different streams actively participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Dr. Y. Tammanna (Principal), Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar (IQAC Coordinator), Dr. Savita Aneppanavar (Physical Director). Dr. Srinivas A. T, Sports Committee Members such as Prof. Prabhuling Gunjetti, Manjunath Maygedi, Miss. Chandrakala. D, Miss. Soumya S, other teaching and non-Teaching staff and students participated in the programme.
Overall, the event was conducted smoothly and achieved its objective of promoting fitness, discipline, and holistic development among students.
