ABOUT THE PROGRAMĀ
Bachelor of Science in Zoology is an undergraduate programme , established in the year 2020. Ā The Department caters the need for the students from rural and backward area of vijayapura and also for others; making them a very good asset for society. Also includes advanced study, Ā It covers the form, function and behavior of animals and elucidates general biological principles through the study of specialized or experimentally tractable system.
AIMS:
The aim of teaching & learning Zoology is to understand the origin & evolution of different species of animals, to enable the students to know the fundamentals of Zoology and to introduce the concept of Zoology.
OBJECTIVES:
- The main objectives of Zoology is the study of the origin & development of species, their habits, behaviors & interactions also research the development of animal diseases.
- To provide quality education in a branch of Biological sciences i.e Zoology with different specializations.
- To facilitate Higher education & research in zoology.
- Ā To provide quality education offering skill based programs and motivate the students for self employment in applied branches of Zoology.
