Guest Lecture Report

Under the IQAC initiative, the Department of Economics organized a Guest Lecture on “Governance, Integrity, and Economic Policy”.
The session was graced by Dr. Anand Uppar, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, BLDEA’s Commerce, BHS Arts and TGP Science College, Jamkhandi, who served as the Resource Person. His insightful deliberation enlightened the students on the significance of governance and integrity in shaping sound economic policies.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and introduction of the speaker by Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, HoD of Economics and IQAC Coordinator, who also delivered the presidential remarks. The event was smoothly conducted by Smt. Shweta Tadavalgi as the compere. Miss Chandrakala Dodamani proposed the vote of thanks, while Mr. Manjunath Myagadi extended valuable support in organizing the session.
The lecture witnessed active participation from around 50 students, who benefitted greatly from the scholarly insights shared.
