Details of Event:
An IQAC Initiative, the Cultural & Sports Committee organized “Inauguration of Cultural And Sports Events & “NAVARAMBHA” For Freshers : 2026-27. The event commenced at 10:00 am. with an invocation song by Miss. Chandrakka K. (B.A. I Sem) & an association song by Miss. Arati & team (B.A. V Sem) & was inaugurated with a lamp lighting ceremony by Smt.Bharati P. alongside the Principal & dignitaries.
Inaugurator’s Address
Smt. Bharati Patil motivated the newly admitted students to make the best use of the educational opportunities and resources available to them throughout their three-year degree programme. She highlighted various government schemes designed to provide financial assistance and ensure that no student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. She particularly emphasized the wide range of schemes and benefits available to female students and encouraged them to make optimal use of these opportunities. Madam further emphasized that education is the most powerful tool for personal empowerment, self-reliance, and nation-building.
Guest of Honour Address: Dr. B.G. Math shared inspiring thoughts on Educational games turn learning into an exciting adventure. This brilliant system keeps learners motivated & focused. Ultimately, mixing study with play makes education truly unforgettable.
Dr. Y. Tammanna, Principal, presided over the programme. Smt. Deepa Lagali delivered the opening remarks. Prof. V. S. Nandesh, Head of the Department of Education, welcomed the gathering and introduced the dignitaries.
The winners of the Talent Hunt Competition and various sports events were felicitated and presented with prizes during the programme. The event was compared by Miss. Chandrakala D., Head of the Department of History. Dr. Savita Aneppanavar proposed the vote of thanks.

The 45 teaching & non-teaching staff and 300 students attended the programme.
