Under the IQAC initiative – Department of Political Science
The college organized a special lecture on Ethics Citizenship and Democracy in Indian Society under the IQAC initiative in collaboration with the Department of Political Science.
Delivering the lecture, Dr.C.S Anur highlighted the awareness among students about ethical values, responsible citizenship and the importance of democracy in Indian society.
The speaker emphasized that democracy becomes stronger when citizens are aware, responsible and committed to constitutional values. Students were encouraged to develop social responsibility, respect diversity and contribute positively to society.
Presiding over the programme, Principal Dr. Y. Tammanna emphasized the significance of Ethics Citizenship and Democracy in Indian society.
Smt. Shweta Tadavalagi warmly welcome the gathering and introduced the resource person. The session was anchored by Smt. Soujanya Bilagi. The programme concluded with the Vote of thanks by Dr. Sudnyani Biradar, HOD, Department of Sociology.
A total of 120 students attended the programme and actively participated in the session.
The lecture has helped our students understand the importance of ethical behaviour, responsible citizenship and democratic values. I encourage all the students to apply these values in their personal, academic and social life.
