Report on Orientation Day Programme
An Orientation Programme for the newly admitted I Semester B.A. and B.Com students was conducted on 1st August 2026 in the Seminar Hall at 10: 30 am to welcome the freshers and familiarize them with the institution’s academic environment and student support facilities.
The programme featured an inspiring address by Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, Resource Person, who encouraged students to pursue academic excellence with discipline and dedication. Dr. Y. Tammana, Principal, presided over the programme and, in his Presidential Remarks, motivated students to actively participate in academic, co-curricular, and extension activities while making the most of their college life.
The programme was successfully organized by Miss Rekha Gadagi, Miss Boramma Desai, Shri Vishwanath Naik, Shri Sidhana Hugar, and Miss Chandrakala Doddamani.
Informative sessions were conducted by Dr. Savita Annepnavar (Sports In-charge), Smt. Savita Kulkarni (Library In-charge), and Shri V. S. Nandesh (NSS In-charge). The students were introduced to various institutional facilities and opportunities, including the Sports Arena, Library, Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), Cultural Activities, Scouts & Guides, and NSS.
The Orientation Programme concluded successfully, providing the students with valuable guidance and motivating them to begin their academic journey with confidence, enthusiasm, and a sense of responsibility.
