An IQAC initiative, The Dept. of Zoology has organized the Essay Competition on July 28, 2026 to mark ๐๐ค๐ง๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ. The chosen theme, โ๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ก๐ ๐ค๐ ๐ผ๐ง๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ก๐ก๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ก๐๐ก๐๐๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ผ๐ฃ๐ฉ๐-๐๐ค๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐จ,โ bridged the gap between modern technology and environmental sustainability.
Participants were given a duration of 1 hour to write their essays on the spot. A total of 38 students from various streams participated enthusiastically.
The essays were evaluated by faculty members from the Zoology department, Ms. Devi Biradar (HoD) and Ms. Vaishnavi Kulkarni.

This essay competition, initiative significantly benefited students through skill enhancement in research and writing, environmental sensitization with practical conservation solutions and interdisciplinary learning by combining computer science, data analytics, and wildlife biology.
