BLDEA’s SBS Arts, Commerce and Science College for Women, Vijayapur, through NSS Unit I and Unit II, organized a Cancer Awareness Rally on 5 February 2026 at 11:15 a.m. to mark World Cancer Day – 2026.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Y. Tammanna and IQAC Co-Ordinator Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar. The rally was coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Prof. V. S. Nandesh and Prof. Deepa Lagali, with the support of staff members.
Around 180 students and NSS volunteers actively participated in the rally. Students carried placards and raised slogans to create awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyles among the public.
The rally was successful in spreading awareness and reflected the institution’s commitment to social responsibility and community service through NSS activities.
