Maibubasaheb.Y.J.Department of Kannada selected for state-level honorary award

Urumala monthly magazine has also selected him for the statev-level honorary award, and the award will be presented at a state-level program to be held in Mangalore on December 21.

He hails from Yaragala B.K. village in Sindagi taluk of Vijayapura district and has been involved in literary writing since childhood, writing stories, poems, and ghazals. His works have been published in leading newspapers of the country such as Prajavani, Vijayavani, Samyukta Karnataka, Sandyakala Udayakala, Lekhni, etc. His work “Azada Madhireya Suttu” was published in 2023 with the financial support of the Kannada Book Authority. Recognizing his concern for Kannada, the Kannada Development Authority of the Government of Karnataka has inducted him as a member of the Kannada Jagruti Samiti.
