BLDEA’S. Smt.Bangaramma Sajjan Arts, Commerce and Science College for Women,Vijayapur, B.Com Programme organized an Inter-Collegiate Trade Fair ” Vyaparostav 2k25″on 28th October 2025 at college campus with great enthusiasm and participation from students of various colleges. The event aimed to provide a practical platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, creativity, and understanding of marketing and business management.
The program was inaugurated by Prof.V.S.Bagali Administrative officer, BLDEA Degree Colleges and Prof.I.S Kalappanavar, Administrative officer, S.S Campus, who emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in today’s competitive world. The function was presided over by our respected Principal, Dr.Y Tammanna, who encouraged students to make use of such opportunities to develop business acumen and leadership qualities.
There were 24 stalls involving students from different colleges set-up their attractive stalls displaying a variety of innovative products and services. The trade-fair witnessed active participation and healthy competition among the teams. The evaluation committee judged the performance of stalls based on creativity, marketing strategy, presentation, and profitability. Prizes were awarded to the best-performing teams for their outstanding performance.
The event was concluded by award ceremony, the top 3 teams were appreciated with trophy and certificates
Overall, the Inter-Collegiate Trade Fair was a great success, providing students with valuable exposure to real-world business activities and encouraging them to think like future entrepreneur.
B.Com programme HOD Dr.Jayashree B, expressed gratitude to the management & also presented sincere thanks to the department staffs, Smt.Shaila Rebagond, Mr.Somashekar Tuppad, Ms Boramma Desai for their active involvement and making this event great success. Cooperation of all faculty members and non Teaching staff was appreciable.
