BLDEAโs Smt.Bangaramma Sajjan Arts Commerce and Science College for Vijayapura in collaboration with Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University Vijayapura Organised One Day Workshop on Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship and Self Employment Schemes.
The program began with anchoring by Ms. Rashmi Dasyal, who welcomed the dignitaries and participants. Dr. Anita R. Natekar, Workshop Coordinator & Chairperson and Dean, Dept. of Commerce and Management, gave Introductory Speech highlighted the objectives of the workshop and its significance in empowering women entrepreneurs.Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar Coordinator IQAC, delivered the welcome address and introduced the guests of the workshop.
The Principal Dr. Y. Tammanna, Principal, delivered inspiring presidential remarks, stressing the importance of entrepreneurial skills for women in the present era.
The workshop has inaugural session followed by three insightful technical sessions. The program witnessed the presence of dignitaries, faculty, students, and resource persons, making it a highly enriching experience.
The first technical session, on Government Schemes and Financial Support for Women Entrepreneurs, was conducted by Mr. Mukund Zalki, Director, RUDSETI, Vijayapura, Mr.Mallikarjun Hatti Senior Faculty RUDSETI addressed gathering and shared insightful thoughts.The second technical session, on Hands-on Activity: Developing a Business Idea & Action Plan, was conducted by Prof. Kashibai S. Kyadagi, Head, Department of Food Science & Nutrition, College of Agriculture, Dharwad. The session was highly interactive, involving brainstorming, development of sample business ideas.
The third technical session, on Women Entrepreneurship โ Success Stories of Women Entrepreneurs, Opportunities & Challenges, was conducted by Mr. Ajit Gujjar, Manager, Aishwarya Jute House, Vijayapura.
The Inaugural and Technical Sessions were highly impactful. The workshop broadened the knowledge of students, introduced them to practical entrepreneurial skills, and motivated them to pursue innovative ventures.Smt. Danamma Gidaveer coordinator MCom Programme expressed gratitude to the guests, faculty, and students for their participation and cooperation.
