Under the initiative of IQAC, the Department of Political Science at Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Arts, Commerce, and Science Women’s College, Vijayapura, organized a special lecture program on the occasion of World Human Rights Day on December 10, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the college auditorium.
The keynote speaker, Mrs. Saishree Utagi, In-charge Vice Principal of Secab Law College, Vijayapura, delivered a thought-provoking lecture the importance of safeguarding our rights while ensuring the protection of others’ rights. Also highlighting Signified.
The event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Y. Tammanna, who highlighted the relevance and significance of human rights protection in the contemporary world. The program witnessed the active participation of Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, IQAC Coordinator, and faculty members of the Political Science Department, including Head of the Department Prof. Rekha Gadagi and faculty Prof. Soujanya Bilagi. Senior Professors Dr. A.T. Srinivas, Prof. P.S. Tolanur, Dr. Savita Lamani, and Prof. V.S. Nandesh were also present. A total of 27 teaching and non-teaching staff members, along with 180 students, attended the event, making it a meaningful and successful.
