BLDE Association’s Smt Bangaramma Sajjan Arts, commerce and Science College for Women, under IQAC initiative Department of Education celebrated “National Education Day”-2024 and special guest lecture on the topic “Issues and Challernges of Indian education System “ on 11-11-2024 to commemorate the birth anniversary of first education minister of independent India Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.
Resource person of the function Dr. S. T. Bolaraddi spoke about ancient Indian Education System and problems and issues of contemprory Indian Education System. She said how skills are important to achieve success in present days. She conducted some activities for students.
IQAC Co-coordinator and HOD Of Economics Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar said in her speech literacy means not only reading and writing its including understanding also.
President of the function Prof: P. S. Tolanur HoD of English in his presidential remark by giving the example of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Education is not for only getting jobs , through education we have to enhance our talent through education.
Prof: V S Nandesh. in his introductory speech said about aims and objectives of “National Education Day’ and contributions of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad’s contributions to the field of education.
In this National Education Day’s special lecture 195 students and 18 staff members were present.
