Celebration of Independence Day On August 15, 2024, BLDE Association’s Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Arts Commerce and Science for Women,College, Vijayapur celebrated Independence Day with a special event organized by the Director of Physical Education, Dr. Savita Anneppanavar and the Youth Red Cross society co-ordinator, Prof. Shweta Ghanti. Principal Dr. Y Tammanna hoisted the national flag, which was followed by the singing of the national anthem. Principal Dr.Y Tammanna in his speech emphasized the significance of Independence Day, reflecting on the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the importance of upholding the values of freedom and unity. The ceremony was attended by the teaching and non-teaching staff, and students of the college.
