Dept of Botany & Zoology has celebrated “World Nature Conservation Day” & Ingurated “Botanical Garden” on 29/07/2024

Inguration of Botanical Garden started by tape cutting with plantation by ingurater Dr.Pratima H.

Celebration of “World Nature Conservation Day” started by a invocation song by Ms. Sanmati C and ingurated by lighting the lamp.

Special lecture was delivered by the Resourse person Dr.Pratima H.

Mime Performance given by Ms.Sanjana P and team / 13 students from B.sc all semester.

The Dept of Botany & Zoology held a Quiz and Model Presentation Competition on 26th and 27th July 2024 on theme Nature and Wildlife. 45 students participated in the quiz competition and 7 teams presented models, which were judged by judges.

The prizes were distributed in celebration, In Quiz competition, Rashmi B. (BCA II Sem) secured 1st, Aditi K.(B.Sc IV Sem) secured 2nd, Sangam H. (B.Sc VI Sem) secured 3rd prize.

In Model Presentation competition, Pooja & Vidyashree (B.Sc II Sem) secured 1st, Soundarya & Aditi (B.Sc IV Sem) secured 2nd, Akshata & Bhoomika (B.Sc IV Sem) & Vani & Preeti ((B.Sc II Sem) both teams secured 3rd prize.

And Our beloved principal Dr.Y.Tammanna sir were presided cover the programme and shared his viewpoints regarding the celebration.

IQAC Co-ordinator Dr.V.S.Nandesh sir, BCA & B.sc Co-ordinator Prof.Gururaj Kulkarni sir, Ms.Soumya Shattar HOD Botany & Ms. Radha Reddy HOD Zoology were present on the dais.

Ms.Soumya Shattar introduced the Resource Person. Ms. Radha Reddy announced the prize distribution.

Ms. Sanmati C. (B.Sc IV Sem) & Ms. Yashwini K.(B.Sc II Sem) welcomed and anchored. Vote of thanks given by Rashmi from B.sc II sem.

The 20 teaching staff and 75 students were attend the programme.
