Special Lecture – “Einstein’s Theory of Relativity: A New Understanding of Space and Time”

The College organized a special lecture on “Einstein’s Theory of Relativity: A New Understanding of Space and Time” under the IQAC initiative in collaboration with the Department of Physics.
Resource Person: Dr. P. S. Patil Sir Assistance professor Department of Physics SB Art’s & KCP Science College, Vijayapura, served as the Resource Person and delivered an informative and insightful lecture on Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. He explained the fundamental concepts of space and time and highlighted the significance of Einstein’s revolutionary ideas in modern physics.
The programme was presided over by Prof. V. S. Nandes Sir, Head of the Department of Education, who delivered the presidential remarks and emphasized the importance of developing scientific curiosity and a deeper understanding of modern scientific concepts among students.
Mr.Shivanand K M Sir, Faculty of the Department of Physics, was present on the occasion.
Miss. Rashmi Dhanagond, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person.
The programme was anchored by Miss. Asharani Deyagond*, Faculty of Department of Physics, conducted the proceedings smoothly and also proposed the Vote of Thanks.
A total number of 70 students have attended the programme. The session provided students with valuable academic knowledge and enriched their understanding of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and the concepts of space and time.
