Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Arts, Commerce And Science College For Women, Vijayapura
Under the IQAC Initiative, the Cultural Committee organized Teachers’ Day Celebration on 5th September 2026 on the college premises with great devotion and enthusiasm.
The program began with floral tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across the country.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, Dr. Savita Patil and Prof. V. Nadesh shared their thoughts on the ideology of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day. They spoke about his contribution as a great philosopher, scholar, and teacher and emphasized how his ideals of knowledge, ethics and dedication continue to inspire teachers and students.
Dr. Y. Tammanna, Principal, delivered the presidential remarks. He extended his warm wishes to all faculty. He appreciated the efforts of the Cultural Committee and highlighted the noble role of teachers in shaping the future of students through education, discipline and dedication.
Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, IQAC Coordinator, and Smt. Deepa Lagali, Cultural Committee Coordinator, were present and graced the occasion.
Students expressed their gratitude to all teachers with heartfelt speeches and wishes.
A total of 50 teaching and non-teaching staff and 150 students attended the program and made the celebration a memorable one.
