Report on Orientation Day Programme
The Orientation Day Programme for newly admitted B.Sc. and BCA students was successfully conducted on 3rd August 2026.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the students. Dr. Y. Tammanna, Principal, addressed the gathering and welcomed the freshers. He motivated the students to make the best use of the opportunities available in the college and encouraged them to maintain discipline, dedication, and academic excellence throughout their course.
Dr. Bhakti Mahindrakar, IQAC Coordinator, highlighted the importance of quality education, student development programmes, and the various academic and co-curricular activities organized by the institution under the IQAC.
The orientation presentation was delivered by Mr. Manjunath Myagedi, who explained the academic structure, introduced the faculty members, and provided detailed information regarding the curriculum, academic regulations, attendance requirements, examination patterns, laboratory facilities, and student support services. He encouraged the students to actively participate in academic and extracurricular activities for their overall development, make effective use of college facilities and resources, and explore potential career opportunities. His interactive presentation helped the students understand the expectations and possibilities available during their academic journey.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Nashirmath, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, IQAC Coordinator, faculty members, and all participants for making the event a meaningful success.
A total of 44 B.Sc. students and 35 BCA students attended the programme, along with 20 teaching and non-teaching staff members.
